Lacy Clay (D) Missouri in reaction to House Republican action to shut down certain operations of the federal government in order to deprive 30 million uninsured Americans of healthcare coverage, which is now available via Obamacare open enrollment at www.healthcare.gov\n====\n\nLast night...House Republicans proved that they hate the President more than they love their country.\n\nThe Republican government shutdown is outrageous.\n\nRemember, this was their choice, not ours.\n\nSpeaker John Boehner caved into the anarchists in his own caucus who have shut down the government in an effort to kill the Affordable Care Act. But, that's not going to happen. \n\nOpen enrollment began today, on schedule, at www.healthcare.gov or www.covermissouri.org\n\nHouse Republicans allowed their Tea Party tantrum to shut down the federal government and bring the United States closer to defaulting on our debt.\n\nThat's selfish, irresponsible and wrong.
