Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05) issued the following statement following the partial shutdown of the federal government:  \r\n\r\nOn Thursday, I voted to keep the government running and provide funding for our border security. On Friday, the Senate failed to act on that legislation. Securing our nation's borders should not be a partisan issue  yet  that's exactly what Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats have made it. Now, hundreds of thousands of Americans will be without pay until Congress can resolve this issue. That's at least one reason why I will not be receiving my salary until a solution is finalized. I'll continue fighting for what's right and working to protect the American people.\"\r\n    \r\n  \r\n  \r\n  \r\n    \r\n      f \r\n      t \r\n      #\r\n      e", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://lamborn.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=2517"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.7811980322003365, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
