As a member of the House Committee on Veterans\u2019 Affairs in the 118th Congress, he has introduced legislation and worked to advocate for policies that help veterans.\n\nLandsman is inviting Ohio\u2019s 1st Congressional District to nominate a veteran they believe deserves to be honored for their service and contributions to our community.\n\nEligible veterans must be constituents of Ohio\u2019s 1st Congressional District. Applications for the 2026 Veteran of the Year Award are open from September 1st through September 30th.\n\nTwo veterans will be chosen \u2013 one from Hamilton County and one from Warren County.
