Ms.\r\n                                  Garcia's work, \"Frutas De Otono\" will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for the\r\nyear-long exhibit sponsored by more than 300 Members of Congress. \"We are very proud to have AnJeanette's work represent our District in the Capitol\r\nduring the An Artistic Discovery exhibit,\" said Lee. \"This is a great opportunity to\r\nhighlight the ways in which art education can enrich the lives of our young people.\"  52 high school students from the 9th Congressional District of California, which\r\nincludes Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland and Piedmont, entered the\r\ncompetition. \"Frutas De Otono\" was chosen in April to represent California's Ninth Congressional District by a panel of judges\r\nfollowing a month long exhibit in Oakland.  \"I am truly honored to have been chosen to have my artwork shown in the Capitol,\" said AnJeanette Garcia. \"Art is not just  \r\nsomething I do, it is my passion and an expression of who I am.
