Congresswoman Lee will be made available to the press to discuss the tour during this stop.\r\nCongresswoman Lee will then visit the Joint Bio-Energy Institute (JBEI), 5885 Hollis Street, Emeryville, CA. JBEI is a Bay Area partnership led by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and is considered the nation's center of alternative energy research. JBEI has received $7.6 million in federal funding to advance the development of next generation bio-fuels.\r\nThe tour will conclude at Amyris Biotechnologies, Inc, also located at 5885 Hollis Street, Emeryville, CA. Amyris Biotechnologies, Inc. creates renewable products, focusing on fuels and chemicals.
