{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["https://lee.house.gov/news/press-releases/four-medical-institutions-to-receive-over-8-million-in-hhs-grant-funding", "Four Medical Institutions to Receive Over $8 million in HHS Grant Funding", "2012-05-04", "2012", "2012-05", "Democrat", "House", "CA", "Barbara Lee", "L000551", "lee.house.gov", null, null, "legacy", "05.04.12\n\t\t\t Four Medical Institutions to Receive Over $8 million in HHS Grant Funding \n\t\t\t\r\n\tContact: Kristal DeKleer\r\n\r\n\t202-225-1882\r\n\r\n\tOakland, CA Congresswoman Barbara Lee (CA-09) announced today that four health agencies that provide services throughout the Bay Area will receive a total of $8.3 million in grant funding through the Health and Human Services.\r\n\r\n\tBerkeley-based Lifelong Medical Care will receive a discretionary grant of $4,966,552, and Children's Hospital and Research Center of Oakland will receive two discretionary grants totaling $2,913,505.\r\n\r\n\tOther grant recipients include:\r\n \r\n\t\r\n\t\tThe Oakland-based La Clinica De La Raza, which will receive a $400,272 in HHS grant through the Affordable Care Act program.\r\n \r\n \r\n\t\r\n\t\tAnd the Oakland-based Asian Health Services, which has been targeted to receive a HHS grant of $62,000 through the Affordable Care Act.\r\n \r\n\r\n\tThese grants will be dispersed incrementally between May 2012 and April 2015.\r\n\r\n\tI am pleased to announce that these four institutions have been targeted to receive this vital funding, said Congresswoman Lee.
