The funding was awarded through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services\u2019 National Heart, Lung, And Blood Institute (NHLBI).\n\u201cAdvances in scientific research hold tremendous potential to help the millions of people struggling with heart and metabolic problems,\u201d said Congresswoman Lowey. \u201cThis funding will support New York Medical College\u2019s cutting-edge research and innovation that may save lives.
