Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) as \u201cPocahontas\u201d during an event at the White House honoring Native American Code Talkers.\r\n\r\n\t\u201cToday\u2019s racially derogatory remarks by President Trump regarding Senator Warren are mean-spirited, insulting and impossible to interpret as anything other than a slur against an entire people. They are beneath the dignity of the office that Mr. Trump holds and are especially insensitive given the setting in which they were delivered, one designed to honor the Navajo Code Talkers\u2019 role in World War II.\r\n\r\n\tI have met many of the Navajo Nation Code Talkers and their families, and these remarks diminish the heroic role they had in ensuring our nation\u2019s freedom.\u00a0 It is a sad day in our country when words spoken by the President serve to undermine the Code Talkers place in history.\u201d", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://lujan.house.gov/index.cfm?sectionid=25&itemid=4696"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.8594729006290436, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
