This town hall comes after recent news that a former Guantanamo Bay detainee has now emerged as a leader of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. After learning of the story, Congresswoman Jenkins reacted to the news:  \u201cThis is just one more reason why it is necessary to hold a town hall for folks at Fort Leavenworth and the Leavenworth community to share their thoughts and concerns.
