The funding will advance a key infrastructure project designed to improve pedestrian safety, connectivity and access throughout Moncks Corner.\n\nThe project will establish a safe mobility corridor linking several neighborhoods to major destinations, including Old Santee Canal Park, Moncks Corner Elementary School, Roper Hospital and local businesses, ensuring residents, students, and visitors can travel more safely and efficiently. This grant not only strengthens local infrastructure but also supports the Lowcountry economy.\n\n\u201cWhen Moncks Corner needed help making its streets safer, we delivered,\u201d said Congresswoman Mace. \u201cSouth Carolina is the fourth fastest-growing state in America, and investing in infrastructure isn\u2019t optional\u2014it\u2019s essential.
