The Congressman first stated his position during a July town hall, and has reaffirmed this commitment in more recent town halls and interviews. In recent months, congressional Republicans have been working steadily to provide transparency to the public. The House Oversight Committee has released over 50,000 documents in the last three months.\n\n\u201cAs I have made clear since my town hall in July, I support full transparency in the Epstein Case,\u201d said Congressman Mackenzie. \u201cIn recent months, the House Oversight Committee has made important strides towards this goal \u2014 releasing tens of thousands of documents to the public. Today's vote continues us in the direction of providing the transparency and accountability that everyone deserves.\u201d\n\nCongressman Mackenzie has a long track record of supporting victims of abuse. As a State Representative, he authored bills to help victims of domestic abuse acquire unemployment benefits and crack down on deepfake pornography.
