We thank Rep. Magaziner for working with us to secure this funding for our first responders.\u201d\n\n\u201cOn behalf of the Foster Police Department, I want to thank Rep. Magaziner for securing federal grant funding forthe Town of Foster,\u201d said Tyler Domingos, Foster Police Chief. \u201cThis funding will strengthen our emergency response capabilities and improve coordination between our officers and first responders to help us protect our residents.\u201d\n\nThe funding will be used to upgrade the Town of Foster\u2019s emergency radio equipment to 800 MHz radios, allowing them to integrate with statewide public safety communication systems.\n\nThe equipment upgrades will benefit first responders, including police, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS), by enhancing emergency communication capabilities and improving response times, coordination during emergencies, and communication between different agencies.\n\nRep.
