Paul Gosar for harboring neo-Nazi extremists within his office.\n\nThe letter comes after recent reporting from Talking Points Memo and the Arizona Republic, which revealed that Rep. Gosar\u2019s digital director is a prominent follower of white supremacist leader Nick Fuentes, an online podcaster and organizer who has gained online notoriety for trafficking in extreme racist, antisemitic, homophobic sentiments. Fuentes is Holocaust denier who has warned against \u201cJewish control,\u201d and repeatedly praised Adolf Hitler. Likewise, Gosar\u2019s staffer \u201cminimized slavery, and made disparaging comments about Blacks, Asians, and Jews\u201d and stated that women \u201cdon\u2019t belong in the workforce.\u201d\n\n\u201cIt is incredibly disturbing that Rep. Gosar \u2013 who has already been censured by the House of Representatives for promoting violence against elected officials \u2013 would employ an individual who openly associates with antisemitic white supremacists like Nick Fuentes,\u201d said Rep. Seth Magaziner. \u201cRep. Gosar must be held accountable for harboring an outright bigot who is responsible for spreading the violent ideologies of white supremacy and neo-Nazism.\u201d\n\n\u201cA Nazi sympathizer works in the halls of Congress. As a Jewish member, I routinely receive hateful attacks because of my religion. Now, a staffer in Congress echoes those same hateful statements. There is no place for such vile extremism in congressional offices that are here to serve all of the American people,\u201d said Rep. Jared Moskowitz.\n\n\u201cAt a time when antisemitism and hate crimes are reaching record-breaking levels, it is absolutely unacceptable that a sitting member of Congress employs a known neo-Nazi and supporter of white nationalist ideology,\u201d saidRep. Dan Goldman. \u201cRep. Gosar himself has fueled the rise in this hateful violence and is now laundering the views of a known Neo-Nazi staffer through the halls of Congress. These views and the people who support them must never have a place in our government.\u201d\n\n\u201cRep. Gosar\u2019s history of associating with and now hiring white nationalists and neo-Nazis is deeply disturbing. The presence of proud neo-Nazis is a threat to people of color and Jewish Americans who work here at the Capitol as well as the people we serve. Speaker McCarthy must hold Rep. Gosar accountable for this kind of overt neo-Nazi sympathizing,\u201d said Rep. Becca Balint.\n\n\u201cRep. Gosar should appreciate that there is a lot of talent out there. He doesn\u2019t need to hire a Nazi,\u201d said Rep. Greg Landsman.\n\nThe letter states:\n\n\u201cWe are alarmed by recent reporting that revealed that a Member of Congress employs a person with neo-Nazi and white supremacist beliefs. As Members of Congress, we have a solemn duty to protect the American people and must abide by an official code of conduct that ensures trust in our democratic institutions. We request that you move to censure Rep. Paul Gosar for harboring neo-Nazi extremists in his office.\u201d\n\nThey continue:\n\n\u201cThe presence of a \u201cGroyper\u201d in Rep. Gosar\u2019s office is a betrayal to the safety and security of the American people and an indication that antisemitic individuals and the white supremacist movement have infiltrated the halls of Congress\u2026 This staffer is the latest example of a disturbing pattern that reflects Rep. Gosar\u2019s lack of moral judgment\u2026 It\u2019s clear that Rep.
