Like all dictators, he sees democracy anywhere as a threat. He does not want his own people to believe that nations with free elections and civil rights for their citizens can be strong.\n\n\u201cLet\u2019s show the world that America stands with democracies and not dictators.\n\n\u201cThe United States will not send troops to Ukraine. This is the Ukrainians\u2019 war to fight, and they are fighting it. Fighting for their families and their freedom, with incredible bravery. But they do need our help.
