Cantor Gluck delivered the opening prayer in the House Chamber.\n\nThe House has opened its daily legislative sessions with a prayer since 1789. The Office of the Chaplain invites Members of Congress to sponsor religious leaders from across the country, representing a variety of faith traditions to serve as Guest Chaplains.\n\nCantor Gluck serves as the spiritual leader of United Brothers Synagogue in Bristol and artistic director of the Jewish community choir at Temple Sinai in Cranston. A former practicing podiatrist, he currently teaches human anatomy and physiology at Cranston High School West and the Community College of Rhode Island.\n\nYou can view a video of Rep. A native of Warwick, Rhode Island, he serves as Spiritual Leader of United Brothers Synagogue in my hometown of Bristol and as Artistic Director of Shireinu the Jewish Community Chorus of Temple Sinai in Cranston, Rhode Island.\n\nHis leadership expands beyond his faith and is recognized by others in Rhode Island.
