The annual bill provides critical resources for national defense, military readiness, and support for the nation\u2019s service members. Rep. Mann released the following statement after the vote.\n\n\u201cEvery day, our U.S. service members put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms,\u201d said Rep. Mann. \u201cI was proud to support our men and women in uniform at Fort Riley and around the globe by voting to give them a 4% pay raise, rebuild our defense industrial base, and restore merit-based standards in our military. More importantly, the NDAA better positions us to promote U.S. peace through strength while codifying several of President Trump\u2019s executive orders that have put our military first again.
