That is why I am proud to be joined by my colleagues in the House in introducing the Parental Notification and Intervention Act. This legislation would prevent abortion providers from performing abortions on minors until the minor\u2019s parents have received written notification that their child has requested an abortion and until they have had a 96-hour window within which they can intervene. In Congress, I will always be a voice for the unborn and respect the rights of parents.\"\n\nThis legislation is being co-sponsored by Reps. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ), Diana Harshbarger (R-TN), Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Alex Mooney (R-WV), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), and is being led in the U.S. Senate by Senator Mike Braun (R-IN).\n\n\"Every single parent and guardian deserves to be notified if their minor child is seeking an abortion.
