Res. 77), calling on the Turkish president to immediately end military action in Northeast Syria. Turkish military operations began against the Syrian Kurds, following an October 6th decision by the President to pull back U.S. troops from the area.\r\rThe withdrawal of U.S. troops gave Turkey a greenlight to go into northeastern Syria. The decision has severe consequences for our strategic national security and dramatically increases the threat to our Kurdish allies the same allies who helped battle ISIS terrorism and takeover of lands. The move may strengthen an alliance between Syria, Russia and Iran, causing further instability in the region and a resurgence of ISIS forces, said McAdams.\r\rThe resolution calls for ongoing support to the Syrian Kurdish communities and a specific plan from the administration to defeat ISIS, also known as the Islamic State group.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://mcadams.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=64"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.311232103034854, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
