Lucy McBath (GA-06) hosted students and their families at the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville for her 2026 Sixth District Congressional Art Competition reception and awards ceremony. During the event, she announced the top 3 winners for this year\u2019s competition.\n\n\u201cI am so proud of how well-represented our entire district was in this competition,\u201d McBath said. \u201cIt is a joy each year to celebrate the talent and creativity on display by young people in our community. I give thanks to their parents and teachers who helped inspire a love of the arts at such a young age. Congratulations to our winners and to all our competing students!\u201d\n\nThis year\u2019s competition received 25 submissions from 10 high schools across Georgia\u2019s Sixth Congressional District. Schools represented in the competition were Atlanta Classical Academy, Atlanta International School, Chapel Hill High School, Creekside High School, Douglas County High School, The Galloway School, McEachern High School, New Manchester High School, North Atlanta High School, and Woodward Academy.
