Lucy McBath (GA-07) announced that The Georgia Wellness Group, Inc. DBA Obria Medical Clinics is a recipient of a $445,500 award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funding will be used to expand Obria Medical Clinics\u2019 evidence-based programs focused on sexual risk avoidance education. Funding for this application was requested by McBath in a letter of support to the Administration for Children and Families in June.\n\n\u201cOur community organizations play an important role in implementing Georgia\u2019s strategy to support the health of our families and decrease the teen birth rate,\u201d McBath said. \u201cThis investment in Obria Medical Clinics\u2019 work will enable them to extend their reach to fill in the gaps and reach young people who need help the most.
