They\u2019re facing serious mental health challenges and concerning living conditions, while their families struggle to get answers to basic questions about the safety and well-being of their loved ones. And yet, Secretary Hegseth denies that anything is wrong aboard the ship.\n\n\u201cThis situation cannot continue. These conditions must be remedied immediately and there must be accountability.\n\n\u201cYou cannot play politics with the lives of our servicemembers. Yet that\u2019s exactly what this administration has done \u2014 all while demanding a ballooned defense budget that fails to deliver for the servicemembers it is supposed to support.\n\n\u201cThe American military represents the very best of America.
