I am so glad we were able to pass it in these last few weeks of the year,\u201d said Senator Leahy.\n\nBackground:\n\nThe PEACE Through Music Diplomacy Act directs the Department of State (DOS) to leverage partnerships with the private sector when designing and implementing the music-related exchange programs run by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).
