This legislation would prohibit schools that receive Federal financial assistance from allowing biological males to compete against females in athletics. Schools that aren\u2019t in compliance with the law would be at risk of losing their federal funding.\n\n\u201cWe are not going to sit back and let federally funded schools strip away the Title IX protections for female athletes,\u201d said Rep. Lisa McClain. \u201cThe House has the power of the purse, and if there are schools out there that want to allow biological males to unfairly compete against females, then they need to find funding elsewhere. We cannot allow President Biden to undermine the sanctity of women\u2019s sports, and I will never stop fighting for the rights of our daughters to compete fairly.\u201d\n\nPresident Biden has chosen to go to war against Title IX and women\u2019s sports. He would rather follow his party's radical agenda than stand up for the women he pretends to support. Defending our daughters shouldn\u2019t be a partisan issue. House Republicans will make certain that Title IX isn\u2019t jeopardized by nonsensical political wars.
