The project will replace and upgrade water wells and water infrastructure at the Surry County School Complex.\n\nThe Water System Upgrade Project will help replace and upgrade water wells at the Surry County School Complex, where the county\u2019s three schools are located. The project will allow the county to connect the public school water system to the neighboring industrial park water system to create a combined system that will increase capacity and foster economic development.\n\n\u201cI commend Surry County for its commitment to modernizing the water infrastructure systems that serve the Surry County School Complex. These upgrades will empower Surry County to meet its current needs and expand its capacity for future demands,\u201d said Congresswoman McClellan. \u201cI thank my local partners in Surry County for their efforts, and I look forward to our continued collaboration.\u201d\n\n\u201cThe Surry County Board of Supervisors is committed to expanding and enhancing the infrastructure of Surry County.
