Attendees had the opportunity to meet directly with hiring managers, submit r\u00e9sum\u00e9s, interview for open positions, and learn about career training and workforce development resources.\n\nBefore the four-hour job fair opened to attendees, Congressman McCormick, Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler, Georgia Labor Commissioner B\u00e1rbara Rivera Holmes, Fulton County Commissioner Bridget Thorne, and Mayor Jim Gilvin held a press conference, where they delivered remarks highlighting the importance of strengthening America\u2019s workforce, supporting small businesses, and expanding economic opportunity.\n\n\u201cCalvin Coolidge once said, \u2018The business of the American people is business,\u2019\u201d said Congressman McCormick. \u201cBringing employers and job seekers together is one of the most practical ways we can serve our communities. It was great to welcome more than 100 employers from across Georgia and over 1,000 Georgians looking for their next great opportunity. I appreciate Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler and the local commissioners for joining us and supporting the mission of connecting hardworking Georgians with good-paying jobs.
