By the Numbers:  \r\n\tTraveled nearly 6,000 miles   \r\n\tVisited 15 out of 20 counties in the First District  \r\n  o\tHarrison County, Brooke County, Wetzel County, Barbour County, Tyler County, Preston County, Marshall County, Pleasants County, Ritchie County, Ohio County, Monongalia County, Marion County, Wood County, Taylor County, and Gilmer County  \r\n\tHeld 87 meetings and events with constituents  \r\n\tParticipated in 14 roundtable discussions on topics including:  \r\n  o\tOpioids and grant funding  \r\n  o\tEducation and school safety  \r\n  o\tEconomic development and workforce development  \r\n  o\tPublic safety  \r\n  o\tHealth care  \r\n  o\tWomen's issue  \r\n  o\tVeterans issues  \r\n  o\tAppalachian Storage Hub and Petrochemicals  \r\n\tFive speaking engagements with civic and business groups  \r\n  o\tWest Virginia Chamber of Commerce  \r\n  o\tCounty Commissioners Association of West Virginia  \r\n  o\tWest Virginia Coal Association  \r\n  o\tWest Virginia Manufacturers Association Chemical Industry Committee  \r\n  o\tWood County Farm Bureau Field Day Highlights:   \r\n\tAttended President Trump rally in Charleston on August 21  \r\n\tAttended Vice President Pence roundtable in Wheeling on July 26; traveling with the Vice President on Air Force Two from Washington  \r\n\tEconomic development roundtable with the German Embassy and German businesses operating in West Virginia at Stockmeier Urethanes in Clarksburg on August 15.
