The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is about delivering real relief for our families and Main Street job creators, so they can keep more of what they earned and grow our economy from the ground up.\r\nOur committee has been focused on making sure this legislation delivers simplification and fairness, especially for middle-income earners. Under our plan, a middle-income family of four in Clarkston will see their taxes cut by $2,700. A local manufacturing shop in Brighton is going to see a much lower corporate rate and immediate expensing, so they can finally expand their operations, increase wages, and hire more workers. Together, we can reinvigorate this economy and compete on a level playing field again.\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue to focus on delivering a positive, pro-growth tax reform plan that allows Americans to bring home bigger paychecks and plan for the future.
