This targeted relief will support Iowa's producers, particularly those growing row crops, who have faced inflation, rising input costs, and ongoing market disruptions caused by unfair trade practices from foreign adversaries.\n\n\"This is welcome news for Iowa\u2019s farm families,\" said Dr. Miller-Meeks. \"After years of uncertainty and global market instability, this bridge assistance will help keep our producers on solid footing as we continue working to open new markets and strengthen America\u2019s ag economy.\"\n\nThe FBA Program will provide proportional support to producers of barley, corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, rice, cotton, and other key crops based on uniform formulas for the 2025 crop year. Payments are expected to begin by February 28, 2026.\n\nFarmers should ensure their 2025 acreage reporting is complete and accurate by 5 PM ET on December 19, 2025 to qualify.
