The focus of the Bipartisan Rural Health Caucus is to advocate for health care policies and highlight challenges that Americans are experiencing in rural communities across the United States.\n\n\u201cHaving access to affordable health care is the difference between life and death for many rural Americans,\u201d said Congresswoman Miller. \u201cIt is unacceptable that all West Virginian\u2019s don\u2019t have quality health care available to them when they need it. I am looking forward to working with the Bipartisan Rural Health Caucus on health care policies that will provide quality care in our communities, prioritize our health care workforce, and educate members of Congress on why rural America needs better and more accessible health care.\u201d\n\nBackground:\n\nThe Congressional Bipartisan Health Caucus will promote and advance legislation and policy actions that help increase access to quality, affordable health care, and mental health services for all rural Americans. They will also create opportunities for members to hear directly from patients, providers, and health advocates about the challenges and successes with health care delivery for rural communities.\n\nThe Caucus will highlight potential policy solutions including:\n\nStemming hospital closures,\n\nEnsuring fair and adequate reimbursement rates,\n\nStrengthening the health workforce,\n\nReducing health inequities, and\n\nExpanding telehealth and other innovative care delivery models.\n\nJoining Congresswoman Miller in the Bipartisan Rural Health Caucus are Representatives Derek Kilmer (D-WA), Tracey Mann (R-KS), John Moolenaar(R-MI), Donald Davis (D-NC), Susan Wild (D-PA), Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan (D-CNMI), G.T.
