AGOA is key to lifting the world\u2019s most dire populations out of poverty while combatting China\u2019s growing influence in Africa.\n\n[African] nations are great partners for sourcing products that may be best produced in friendly countries, such as apparel and travel goods, which in turn supports American consumers and jobs by ensuring the lowest prices across the supply chain.\n\nHowever, China is actively spreading their influence across the continent.
