Paul Mitchell (MI-10) released the following statement following the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Rural Development's award of nearly $5 million in grants and loans for Lexington to perform water system improvements:\nImproving and upgrading infrastructure  including water systems  is critical to the well-being and growth of our communities. These funds help Lexington make much needed improvements to their drinking water and wastewater infrastructure. The USDA Office of Rural Development's announcement is welcomed news and I look forward to seeing the new infrastructure improvements it provides for our rural communities.\nAward Details: \nVillage of Lexington\nLoans: $3,659,000.00\nGrants: $1,335,000.00\nProject Description:\n This Rural Development investment will be used to fund water system improvements for the Village of Lexington.
