Traxler represented parts ofthe Great Lakes Bay region in Congress from 1974 until 1993.\nTraxler served our nationin the U.S. Army (1953-1955),and alsoheld office asa state representative (1963-1974) and asamember of the MSU Board of Trustees (1993-2000).\nCongressman John Moolenaar made the following statement:\nBob Traxler was someone who fought for his constituents and worked across the aisle to get things done.
