Mrvan announced the details of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge for middle and high school students in Indiana\u2019s First Congressional District.\n\nEach year, the Internet Education Foundation and Members of the U.S. House of Representatives sponsor the Congressional App Challenge to foster an appreciation for computer science and STEM education. The Congressional App Challenge is an annual nationwide academic competition for middle school (6th \u2013 8th grades) and high school (9th \u2013 12th grades) students to create and exhibit their software application, or \"app,\" for mobile, tablet, or computer devices on a platform of their choice.\n\nStudents in Indiana\u2019s First Congressional District are invited to compete against their peers in a challenge to create the best software application to represent our region at the House of Code reception in Washington, D.C. in the Spring of 2026. This competition is designed to promote innovation and engagement in STEM fields.\n\nCongressman Mrvan stated, \u201cI am thrilled to announce that the 2025 Congressional App Challenge is now open to students attending middle and high school who are interested in coding and technology.
