Mrvan announced the students who have completed summer internships in his Merrillville office.\n\nLilia Brunetti is from Munster and currently studying International Studies and Biotechnology at Indiana University in Bloomington. Brunetti stated, \u201cBecause of this internship, I am so much more aware of the problems that everyday Americans face, and I am thankful to have been able to assist the incredible caseworkers. Speaking with the Congressman himself, I have seen how dedicated he is and how much he cares about Northwest Indiana.\u201d\n\nPeter Galanos is from Munster and currently studying Business Management at Indiana University in Bloomington. Galanos stated, \u201cThe most rewarding part of this experience was being able to sit in on staff meetings and see how the Congressman prepares for his work. There is so much background and information on legislation, and I appreciate how this preparation is used to improve interactions between the Congressman and constituents.\u201d\n\nCongressman Mrvan stated, \u201cThank you to our Merrillville office summer interns Lilia and Peter for their enthusiasm, hard work, and professional support in service to Indiana\u2019s First Congressional District.
