Mrvan announced a federal grant award for the Construction Advancement Foundation of Northwest Indiana under the Department of Labor\u2019s Occupational Safety and Health Administration\u2019s (OSHA) Susan Harwood Training Grant program.\n\nAccording to OSHA, the Construction Advancement Foundation of Northwest Indiana will receive a Targeted Topic Training Grant award for $135,565 to institute a workplace mental health awareness and suicide prevention training program. Specifically, the program is expected to train individuals on awareness and recognition of mental health resources in the workplace.\n\nCongressman Mrvan stated, \u201cI applaud the initiative of the Construction Advancement Foundation to continue their commitment to the well-being and safety of workers in Northwest Indiana.
