Mrvan released the following statement in advance of the President\u2019s State of the Union Address.\n\n\u201cAs we approach the President\u2019s State of the Union address tonight, I look forward to a discussion of the aggression and humanitarian crisis currently occurring in Ukraine, and of the pressing domestic issues facing our nation.\n\n\u201cOver the past year, I am proud that Congress passed, and the President signed into law, the American Rescue Plan, which provided invaluable resources to our communities and saved lives and livelihoods. Congress has also passed, and the President signed into law, the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which is one of our nation\u2019s largest investments in our ports, airports, water infrastructure, roads, bridges, and mass transit.\n\n\u201cGoing forward, I will continue to strive for Congress and the Administration to achieve the same success in addressing the inflation challenges that are currently impacting so many individuals and families. Corporations must not be allowed to use the pandemic health crisis and military actions to reap windfall profits.
