From day one of my tenure, I have made transparency a top priority.\n\nAs some may recall, in May 2024, I announced that I was undergoing surgery for a benign pituitary tumor. Everything went well, and I had an uneventful recovery, returning to work within just a few weeks.\n\nIn the interest of continued transparency, I am sharing with you all that I will soon undergo follow-up treatment for this benign condition. I have been blessed by good health, but sometimes \u2018tune-ups\u2019 are needed!\n\nI look forward to rejoining my colleagues after the Christmas break to continue working to deliver a healthcare system that is accessible and affordable for all Americans. Every day, I strive to make life better for my constituents by allowing them to keep more of their hard-earned money, cutting Washington\u2019s needless bureaucracy, and promoting peace through strength.\n\nDespite our shortcomings, we still have the greatest nation on earth, and we must fight to keep it that way.\n\nThank you all for your prayers and support.
