Nehls (R-TX-22) released the following statement after voting \u201cYES\u201d to pass the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025:\n\n\u201cToday, I voted \u2018YES\u2019 to pass the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2025,\u201d said Congressman Nehls. \u201cThis legislation authorizes a 14.5% pay raise for junior enlisted servicemembers and supports a 4.5% raise for all other servicemembers. Additionally, this critical legislation combats the Left\u2019s woke and radical ideology by banning our defense department from providing transgender medical treatments for children.
