The Congressional Gold Medal is the highest civilian award that Congress can award. Rep. Norcross is a proud sponsor of the legislation, and previously urged his colleagues to bring this important bill to a vote.\n\u201cThese soldiers stood shoulder-to-shoulder with America\u2019s fighting forces during the Second World War. Their service and sacrifice cannot be understated and must never be forgotten,\u201d said Rep.
