The transformative investments in the bill will create good-paying American jobs, grow opportunity for middle class and small businesses and provide a lifeline for working families.\n\nThe investments created through this bill would greatly benefit the communities in South Jersey. Specifically, New Jersey\u2019s First Congressional District would receive $290,000 in additional Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds for job training in the district, $36.9 million in additional funding for schools and an additional $22.8 million in funding for veterans\u2019 health care.\n\n\u201cThis bill tackles three of my top priorities, creating jobs, expanding opportunity and support for working families,\u201d said Congressman Norcross. \u201cSeveral key provisions were in today\u2019s package that will benefit South Jersey families, including funding to combat hunger, investment in wind energy and clean drinking water and support for our workers. Together, these investments will help reverse decades of disinvestment in our nation and help America Build Back Better.\u201d\n\nThe seven bills include several provisions benefitting South Jersey.
