If the NLRB doesn\u2019t have the money to operate, their staff gets furloughed, and workers and employers are put at risk. We still have a long way to go to restore this agency to its proper place, but this funding can\u2019t come soon enough. I want to thank House Appropriations Committee Chair Rosa DeLauro and Senate appropriators for coming together to create a federal budget that reflects our nation\u2019s values, and I remain committed to leveling the playing field by holding bad actors accountable for violating our labor laws.\u201d\n\nAs co-founder of Labor Caucus and Congress\u2019s only union electrician, Congressman Norcross has fought tirelessly to ensure the NLRB is funded. In April 2022, Norcross led 148 of his colleagues in pushing for adequate funding for the National Labor Relations Board.
