{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["https://norman.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=3608", "Norman Moves to Expose Criminal Illegal Aliens Released Into U.S. Communities", "2026-06-18", "2026", "2026-06", "Republican", "House", "SC", "Ralph Norman", "N000190", "norman.house.gov", "norman", "https://norman.house.gov/news/documentquery.aspx?DocumentTypeID=27", "scraper", "WASHINGTON \u2014 Congressman Ralph Norman (R-SC) introduced the Worst of the Worst (WOW) Act, legislation requiring U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to establish and maintain a publicly accessible database of criminal illegal aliens released from ICE custody into American communities.\n\nThe bill would require ICE to publish key identification information for individuals released from custody who have prior convictions for violent crimes, sexual offenses, weapons offenses, drug trafficking offenses, crimes against children, or gang-related enhancements.\n\nThe database would include:\n\nPhotograph\n\nName\n\nGeneral physical description, including height and weight\n\nCity of release\n\nDate of release\n\nGeneral category of qualifying conviction\n\nThe database would also be searchable by both city and name.\n\n\u201cAmericans have a right to know when violent criminals are being released into their communities,\u201d said Congressman Norman. \u201cFor too long, weak judges and reckless immigration policies have put public safety at risk while leaving citizens in the dark. Families and local law enforcement deserve transparency and accountability in their communities when it comes to dangerous criminals.\u201d\n\nThe Department of Homeland Security has already shown the importance of public transparency through efforts such as the Aliens.gov initiative, exposing some of the most violent illegal aliens arrested by ICE and CBP.\n\nThe legislation comes amid ongoing efforts to reverse the Biden administration\u2019s release of criminal illegal aliens into communities across the country despite prior convictions for serious offenses.", 1, "2026-06-19T06:50:32Z", "2026-06-19T06:53:40Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://norman.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=3608"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.8977891411632299, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
