The letter comes after the Administration moved to allow up to 300,000 metric tons of imported beef into the United States over the next 90 days.\n\n\u201cIowa cattle producers raise the best beef in the world. We share the goal of bringing down prices for American families, but after seven straight years of a shrinking American cattle herd, flooding the market with foreign beef is the wrong answer at the wrong time,\u201d said Rep.
