Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN-03) released the following statement after the Administrations announcement that a Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement had been reached.\r\n\r\n\tA successful Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement has the potential to increase the ability for Minnesota farmers, ranchers, and businesses to reach customers in emerging markets, sell American goods, and create jobs here at home. Because of Congresss actions earlier this year to pass Trade Promotion Authority, the public will have an opportunity to scrutinize this deal, evaluate it, and decide if it meets the objectives that were laid out.
