He was wrong then and he is wrong now. There is no such thing as a good shutdown of government. A Trump-Musk Shutdown will hurt America\u2019s working families, seniors, veterans and disaster survivors. It forces servicemembers, law enforcement officers and first responders to work without pay. And at the peak of the holiday travel season, it degrades airport security and air traffic control.\n\n\u201cBy following the marching orders of Elon Musk and Donald Trump, House Republicans are abdicating their responsibility to the American people and siding with billionaires and special interests.
