The freedom of speech isn\u2019t restricted by state lines, and neither should our 2nd Amendment rights. \n\u201cMillions of Americans have met the extensive requirements necessary to receive a concealed carry permit. However, some states severely restrict the ability of these law abiding citizens to exercise their right to carry.\u00a0 Such restrictions infringe upon our 2nd Amendment rights. \n\u201cTo address this troubling problem, I co-sponsored and voted for the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, which ensures that every state in the Union respects concealed carry permits issued in other states.
