The winners were selected from a diverse range of submissions by talented high school students throughout the Virgin Islands. Of the 14 entries, 3 top winners were selected:\n\n1st Place\n\nContemplation by Henson Barley Jr.\n\nSt. Croix Educational Complex High School\n\n2nd Place\n\nIsland Vibe by Riyanna M. Sutton\n\nSt. Croix Educational Complex High School\n\n3rd Place\n\nLady in Madras by Ava Daniel\n\nIvanna Eudora Kean High School\n\n\u201cMy team and I would like to extend our gratitude to the Virgin Islands Council on the Arts for their efforts every year towards the success of the Virgin Islands District Art Competition,\u201d said Congresswoman Plaskett. \u201cVICA\u2019s unwavering support of the arts in our community plays a vital role in fostering creativity.
