Richmond. \u201cThese new changes make a bad bill worse by allowing states to gut requirements that all plans provide essential health benefits, such as maternity care and mental health services, and eliminate protections for those with pre-existing conditions.\n\u00a0\n\u201cLouisianans throughout the state have stood up to protect the healthcare they\u2019ve gained under the Affordable Care Act.
