Congressman Riley M. Moore, who is a member of the House Appropriations Committee, voted \u201cYes\u201d on the bill.\n\nThis legislation provides $452.64 billion for the Department of Veterans Affairs, which is $82.6 billion above the previous Fiscal Year 2025 enacted level.\n\nThe legislation also includes several of Congressman Moore\u2019s priorities, such as language prohibiting the VA from buying Chinese tech equipment, as well as language that restricts the Department from sharing veterans\u2019 names with the FBI NICS system.\n\nCongressman Moore issued the following statement:\n\n\u201cToday\u2019s bill is a win for veterans, and I was proud to vote \u2018Yes.\u2019 West Virginia has a rich history of military service, and those veterans deserve the very best care available.
