For the people I represent, this can make a big difference. For that mom working a retail job or the dad driving the truck or that single parent working two or three jobs just to make ends meet, having an extra $1,000 in your pocket is a big deal.\n\u201cI promise you hardworking taxpayers know how to spend their money better than the government does.\u201d\nIn addition to lowering tax rates for individuals and families, Republicans\u2019 tax reform proposal would lower business tax rates to spur job growth, close loopholes written into the tax code, and simplify the process for how most Americans pay their taxes.
